Family Christmas Video

Hi Everyone!!! I am so glad that I was finally able to get my Christmas song up!!! I recorded this two years ago with my mom and I absolutely love it. Its such a great memory we share and I was so happy with the finaly product when I heard it.

I have had quite a few of you ask me about this song because of hearing it from past Christmases which makes me so happy to know you have enjoyed it also!!

I made a photo collage on youtube of my family and I also put a couple clips of family videos from growing up. I hope you enjoy the video and more so the song!!!

On Monday night I went to the Chargers Vs Broncos game at Qualcomm for Monday Night Football. Wow!! Talk about one seriously exciting game. It was one of the best Chargers games I have been too. The crowd energy was amazing! It was my friend Dave's bday so we all rolled down to Qualcomm and tailgated for a cpl hours before the game. I love football and I love my friends so I couldnt have asked for a better time with them!! <3>

It has been a really cold day in San Diego. No sun, lots of rain, and I am completely loving it!! I am someone who loves having the "4 seasons" and in San Diego we pretty much only get two "Summer and a little colder but still sunny and warm winter" lol so I really enjoy the days that feel like winter and fall!! :-)

I thought what better than enjoying this day with a nice soup!! I made a cheddar and ham soup and it was absolutely DELICIOUS!! I didn't add the ham because my mom is a vegetarian, but I did add it on the side for my dad and brother.

Here is the amazing recipe. If you are wanting something to warm your soul I definitely recommend this super easy recipe!!!



4 cups potatoes peeled and diced
1/2 cup finely chopped celery
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1/2 cup finely chopped carrots
3/4 cup cooked ham
4 cups water
2 tblspns chicken bouillon granules
1/2 cup corn
1/2 tspn salt
pepper to taste
5 tblspns butter
5 tblspns flour
2 cups milk

Add potatoes, celery, onion, carrots, ham and water to a stockpot and bring to a boil then reduce to medium heat and let cook for about 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
Then add corn, chicken bouillon, salt and pepper.
In a separate pan melt butter on medium heat.
Add the flour and whisk constantly with a fork. Let thicken (about 1 minute)
Then slowly add the milk and constantly stir to prevent clumping. Let it cook for about 5 minutes or until thickened to a nice gravy consistency.
Pour mixture into stockpot and stir. - Serve Immediately

Add grated cheddar cheese on top when serving.

I have definitely become a fan of the cute messy ponytail!! Im not really sure if its "trendy" or instyle right now but I am someone who always wears my hair down and the same. Literally I mean ALWAYS! lol dont get me wrong...I love my hair and I like that its simple and long and I can blow it dry and put it a few curls in it, shake it and go, but lately I have been wanting to wear it back so Ive been putting it in a cute messy ponytail. Yes, even with dresses and heels. Its SO cute and I always make sure I am wearing a big pair of earings when its up so it keeps it girly.

A cpl tricks for the perfect sexy ponytail....


~Dont try too hard!! Keep it messy (but obviously not too messy) You want it to look as natural as possible.


~Add in a hair clip. I have clip in extensions I use sometimes and it makes it extra long and full in the back.

~Pull hair down around your face. I dont like my ponytails completely slicked back so I make sure I leave hair down around my face to keep it soft and frame my face well.

I LOVE music...ALL types of music!! I love pop, country, r&b, hip-hop, house. Honestly I can go from listening to George Strait to DeadMau5 to Gucci Mane, to Jackson 5 back to Shania Twain all in one CD. lol I think it was because I was raised on so many different types of music that I really do love it all! This summer I got to see Kaskade at Encore in Vegas and it was SO amazing! My friends and I had the table right next to his dj booth and the energy was amazing!

How was everyone's weekend?

My brother, mom, dad and I went up to Laguna Beach to visit my Aunt Ruth this weekend. She is 85 and lives in a retirement community there.

She is SO energetic for being 85, and she is a handful...VERY funny.

I defintiely want to be like that when Im older. I think the saying

"you are only as old as you feel" is very true!!

I have a busy week ahead. My brother and his girlfriend Molly will be in San Diego for a couple days. I always have a blast when we are all together. :-)

Dinner after a Chargers game at Nobu. Nobu is seriously the BEST spot for really nice sushi. It is inside the Hard Rock Hotel downtown, and I cannot get enough!! The spicy shrimp tempura, sashimi, rolls...its all to die for! :-)

I wanted to be a rapper so my friends and I decided on Soulja Boy. It was SO fun. I was really comfy all night. I got size 36 jeans!!! lol My belt literally could not even hold them up sometimes. I bought Superman boxers and a Superman belt buckle. I got white glasses and wrote Soulja Boy on them with a white-out pen. I even googled how the real Soulja Boys glasses looked so I could make it perfect. Then I rocked a Sean John fitted! ;-)

How was everyones Halloween?? Mine was SO fun...actually it was more of a "Halloween weekend" I'll post a few pictures throughout the week. On Saturday night my best friend Alana and I dressed up as school girls.

On Saturday night we went to 207 @ The Hard Rock Hotel downtown. It was a lot of fun. You can always count on 207 for good music and a fun crowd,

The are 2 things in my make-up bag that I cannot live without!!!




The first is BOY BAIT Cremesheen Lipgloss by MAC! Its seriously to die for!! The perfect peachy/pink gloss that looks amazing on everyone. My friends borrow it from me all the time!! My girlfriends with dark hair and who are really tan look great with as well as my blonde friends and even friends with pale skin.

Some of you may have used MAC Lipglass before and my only issue with that is that its SO thick that it can just feel so heavy and we all know how badly your hair sticks to your lips when the wind blows and you are wearing Lipglass. lol Yuck! The Cremesheen line has great staying power and its SO glossy. A perfect nude lip with a smokey eye. My Fav!! :-)









My next -cant live without- make up product is
LOREAL'S VOLUMINOUS MASCARA in Carbon Black. I have used every mascara out there. MAC, Chanel, Maybeline, Sephora and none work for me as well as Loreal's Voluminious does. It doesn't clump and goes on very easily. It thickens lashes amazingly and its also a plus because it is so inexpensive!! I only wear dark shadows on my eyes so a great mascara is the best way to top it off. Put on one coat during the day to give your lashes the perfect volume or during the evening put on 3 coats to make them dramatic!




I highly recommend trying both of these products!!

I am totally loving the Skinny belt trend!! Big chunky belts were in for a long time so its nice to see the change!

I Had such a fun time celebrating one of my best friends Brians birthday this weekend. We went to a fun spot in Pacific Beach called Barwest. Its small and has a really fun energy with great music.

I had a blast..

and even though a huge piece of chocolate cake landed on the top of my head I laughed it off. (yes the guys got in a cake fight) and I just happened to be walking by as it started.

I love living in San Diego. Its always so beautiful! Great restaurants, beautiful beaches, a wonderful nightlife, beautiful parks. I cant imagine living anywhere else.

My winter obsession? Definitely over the knee boots!!! I have already bought two pair. I got a suede pair and a leather. I like suede for the day and leather at night. You can wear them with jeans, leggings, and I even wear mine with dresses.

Adorable!! I know they were big last winter but I think they will be even more popular this winter
